The end of another weekend

I wish I could say it was a nice spring one, but again, not so much. Yesterday it went from rain to sun and back and forth, all day. Today the sun was out but the temps aren't that great, with a high of only 10, this time of year we like it a lot warmer than that. I took Breanna and a friend out to White Point today to go swimming, Breanna won 2 passes at school for the Lodge, so after weeks of her driving me nuts to take her, I gave in. I sat by the pool with my book while they swam. We came home, had supper and now Doug and the kids are out painting the foundation, one of his jobs for this week while he's on vacation, luck guy!

Wet and Windy Day

It's raining cats and dogs, maybe some cows too. The kids are gone for the day with their other parents, Charles and Carolyn. They left at 7 this morning and won't be back until sometime tonight. No big plans for me today, if my back comes around a bit I might go try and clean out some of the junk from Josh's room, if not, it will just be a lazy day of reading and laundry. I'll have to go see Mom tomorrow, she's not doing too great but is such a mood that nobody wants to go see her, all she does is fight with you. She's been pretty good with me, but I always have one of the kids with me and I think that keeps her from fighting.

Debbie's kitty is missing, Toby, he came from Mamma kitty. Somehow he got out on Thursday night and hasn't come home. He's an indoor kitty and hasn't been outside since we caught him when he was a baby and went to live with Debbie. I was just talking to Jim and he says that Toby was on the doorstep last night but took off, so at least we know he's around, we just have to catch him and get him back in the house, where he belongs. Poor Debbie was so upset, pets are just like our children.
