Another Friday, yay, every-one's favorite day of the week! But we all know just how fast the weekend will fly by. Today isn't just any Friday, it's the first day of spring. That sounds good but really, it's no warmer today that it has been for the last month. We hope that it will soon warm up and spring will really get here or at least feel like it's on it's way.

Today has been a stressful day, yesterday we heard that the company Doug works for may end up going bankrupt, that doesn't just mean our family will be screwed, the whole town will be screwed. This company is the leading employer around here and without it, well, there won't be much left around town, it will hit every family and every business for miles.

What a beautiful day we haad

It was +9 out there people! Wow, a shock to our system for sure! Now that's not to say that we'll get hit with a snowstorm this week at some point but it was just nice to have a day off and it be beautiful out. We went to Bridgewater to get Josh a new cell phone, he's now off pre-paid and on my contract, God help me. LOL But he knows he has to give me money toward the bill every month.

I've been doing some packing because it's looks like I may get a winter vacation at the IWK. Josh's head is still bad so we're going in on Monday for a MRI and then to see his neurosurgeon. We're going with suitcases so if they want to keep him we're ready. It's been almost 3 weeks now, time for some answers.

Friday night check in

I got in trouble today for not posting, sorry bout that Mama D. What can I say, it's either been a busy week or I didn't have much to say. LOL And really it's more that there's nothing that interesting going on so I don't blog.

I haven't been up to see Baby Jack tomorrow but I hope to go see him tomorrow, I'm so in love with this little guy whom I have not even met yet. I hope to remember to take my camera and get some pictures of him, I'll have to ask Ann I I can post one on here so my sis can see it. Cuz my sis reads this every day, so yes, she's probably been cursing me this week to for being lazy.

Tonight was Meikka's 80's party, I wasn't going to go because of my back and I'm on the pain patch and didn't know if I could drink. I decided when I got off that I would go, got ready and went up to Meikka's, had one drink and called Doug to come and get me, my back is hurting so much and I really should not be drinking since I've only had the pain patch on for a week.


So ya, I'm old and in pain and did I mention that I'm old? LOL
