So what's new?

Well, we just got back from the Valley, we went up to Oaklawn Farm Zoo for the day. It was a warm one that's for sure. I think we'll all be ready for an early night.

We found out yesterday that Mamma kitty, the one that used to live with the lady across the street but now belongs to us, had 2 kittens. She brought them out last night to see us. She's still very timid and won't let us get too close to her and the kittens are the same way. We hope to get the babies to trust us enough so we can tame them and find homes for them. I think homes for them will be no problem, we have a couple of people who want them.

Anyway, short and sweet, I'll catch up on Monday, but here are some pictures from the Zoo to hold you over.

Saturday's Rainbow

Only 2 full weeks left

And summer vacation will be over! I can't figure out where the time went, it seems like they just got out. This is the first summer that I don't have the days counted down until they go back. We've all enjoyed the time off this summer, we've gotten used to sleeping in, boy it's going to suck when we have to get up for school. LOL

We had a pretty good weekend here. Josh and Nathan slept out in the tent Saturday night, we had a bit of rain before dark but once it stopped it didn't rain the rest of the night. It was a cool night and I took 3 heavy blankets out to them to keep them toasty.

Yesterday I got some housework done, does it ever end? I think we did 3 loads of laundry, I think the people next door must drop theirs off too, I do laundry every day and there's always more to do.

Well we didn't win the 649, 44 million Saturday night, of course if we had one I'd be on my way to pick up my money instead of sitting here. LOL But everyone has a dream I guess.

Today will be more housework, a list of chores for the kids to do, which I'm sure they will love me for, I work them so darn hard you know. *insert eye roll here*

Anyway, time to wash my hair and get something done. Have a great week!
