Rock Tumblers

I've got a daughter who is obsessed with rocks, she has been since she was able to start picking them up off the ground and bringing them home with her. So something I've thought about getting her is one of the cool rock tumblers they sell at Hobby Warehouse. I think she'd have a great time polishing up all the rocks she has stored in her bedroom and then she'd be off to find even more to add to her collection.

It's almost Friday

And all I can say is bring it on! I'm beat, mentally and physically, for sure. I got off work tonight and went right to the hospital to spend time with Mom, I'm not sure she even wanted me there, which makes it harder, tonight it was like, I was bothering her, I just felt like I should take her dirty clothes and run. In my eyes she's not only not getting better, she's getting worse, and I can see it every day. Sucks...

Home theater carpet

Do you have a room set up for a home theater? I'd love to re-do my basement and turn it into a home theater, the kids would love it, too much at times, I'm sure. One of the things that I'd have to have when I did my room would be home theater carpet, just to top off that "movie theater" feel. Of course, I'd also have to have the posters, chairs to hold your drinks and popcorn, the whole setup, cool eh?

I have to admit, I love infomercials, I find them very interesting and love to see the new products that come out, and of course, I've bought quite a few for us and for gifts. Fall has found us

Well Fall has found us, yesterday morning the windows in the truck were frosted up, I guess there's no getting away now! LOL Not much new to report, busy busy with work, the kids, and Mom. We've also been looking at trading in our Escape for a truck, not sure if that's going to be a go but we're looking, it all depends on the $$ aspect of it all. Tomorrow I work 1-9 and have to make some calls to get information about what the next step is with Mom, we don't know what's going to happen to her and where she's going to go, I just hope it's not a process that takes too long.
