Another week begins

This is the last full week of Aug. boy the time sure has gone by fast this summer. It will soon be time for school and time to get back into a routine again, no more staying up till midnight for the kids.

We had a good weekend, Saturday we were in the Valley and yesterday I had to work and then we had company for supper. Doug spent the day cooking a turkey dinner, it smelled like Christmas when I got home from work.

The kids have been trying to catch the kittens but the kittens aren't having any of that. I try and tell the kids they have to let the kittens come to them or else they will just hide from them.

Today I've been trying to clean up and trying to get my Dr.'s office on the phone, he's been on vacation for 2 weeks so all I'm getting is a busy signal. I have to get a blood work paper filled out, hopefully there will be some clue in my blood work as to why I'm so damn itchy. I don't have a rash and I'm not itchy all the time, it comes and goes. I've got my legs so bruised up from scratching that I won't wear shorts out in public, I look like someone beat me up!

Time to get back to work!

A friend of mine tames 'wild' kittens. As soon as they wean she catches them and keeps them inside, in a small room, and spends as much time handling them or sitting with them as she can.
Our kitty, Nuage, is one of her hand-tamed kitties. He started as a wild barn cat, as did my mom's two cats, now indoor kitties. They are great!
