Florida rental vacation

We are still in the process of planning our next family vacation, right now it looks like it won't happen until 2009 but it pays to plan early. One of the things we've thought about is, instead of staying in a hotel we may go with a Florida rental vacation. With so many homes to choose from with a wide variety of locations, sizes and amenities, it's easy to find something that is right for you and your family. This is also a great idea if you are travelling with another family, share a house, share the expenses, this can cut your vacation cost in half, giving you more money to spend, which could add a few days on to your vacation, which is a great idea!

Wanted...Summer

If anyone has seen summer, could you send it our way? Man, what a rotten spring we are having, rain, fog, cloudy, rain, mist, no sun, no sun at all. We did have a couple of nice days but that's been it, our pool is up and the water is getting colder than it was when it was put in there. Josh's regular school days are over, exams start on Monday and he'll be finished on Thurs. Last night was the prom, Josh took Alyssa and I think they had a good time, I haven't talked to DL yet to see how Alyssa's report was though. LOL

TGIF

Yay! We made it to FRIDAY! Today was a great day, I was in a very good mood all day, for some strange reason, maybe just because it's Friday, and payday too! Big plans for the weekend include sleeping in, going out with the gang from work tomorrow night and of course, sleeping in again on Sunday. Might have to throw in some, ha, lots, of house work, at some point over the weekend.

On Monday my honey has to leave for the week for work stuff so it will be just the kids and I for the week. And next weekend is the Spina Bifida Slowpitch tournament in the city so we'll be in there all day on Saturday, I can't wait!

Rev It Up with Fresh from Florida!

When we are out shopping, especially for fresh fruit and veggies, we see that a great deal of them come from Florida. It's great that we can get these things, at any time of year, especially when you are up north, where the growing season is so short. I love all of the Florida advertising that you see, they come up with some great ones, reminding us that we should be thankful that we can get our fresh produce and not have to rely on canned or frozen produce all winter. Could it be?

Could that be spring peeking in this morning? We thought it got here a couple of weeks ago but that was just a cruel joke, we went from nice warm days to cold and wet days, urggg. I can't wait for spring but I think we're heading right in to summer again this year. The pool is to go up in 2 weeks, 2 weeks later than normal, I'm so tired of paying to get it filled and then having cold temps and rain for the first 2 weeks, so this year we're just going to hold off a bit till I know it's going to be warm.

It's Tuesday morning but feels like Monday since yesterday was a holiday, that's okay, that will make the week go by faster. LOL Breanna is having trouble getting out of bed, I've been after her for 30 mins now and she's still curled up under her blankets not moving, I guess I'll have to go get the water bottle to get her moving. LMAO
