Another weekend just about here

This one doesn't sound like it's going to be too great weather wise though. And unfortunately it's our community's big weekend, SeaFest. Shark fishing all weekend, entertainment for all, lots of things for the kids and tomorrow night April Wine will open the festivities. Another unfortunate thing is that I work all weekend, sucks, but I agreed to do the weekend before I realized what weekend it was and I wasn't going to go back on my word. So I get to sleep in tomorrow for a bit and go to work at lunch time. Once there I get to hang out back in the staff room and get next week's flyer done. I'm still having some trouble with this part of my job but plan to nail it next week, no matter what. I have all weekend to make sure it's done right and that's what I plan to do.

Another beautiful weekend

It's a beautiful day here on the South Shore of NS. You can feel that summer is coming to an end though, the nights and mornings are quite chilly at times. We don't have any big plans for the weekend, I was going to take the kids to do some back to school shopping but I just don't feel like doing that today. I did go to town and picked up a few supplies so my list isn't quite as big now. Tonight we've been invited to go over to a friends house for a drink and I think we might just do that. The kids can go with us and I'll stick to pop so that I can drive home. It will be a nice night to sit out by the fire and relax.
