Friday night check in

I got in trouble today for not posting, sorry bout that Mama D. What can I say, it's either been a busy week or I didn't have much to say. LOL And really it's more that there's nothing that interesting going on so I don't blog.

I haven't been up to see Baby Jack tomorrow but I hope to go see him tomorrow, I'm so in love with this little guy whom I have not even met yet. I hope to remember to take my camera and get some pictures of him, I'll have to ask Ann I I can post one on here so my sis can see it. Cuz my sis reads this every day, so yes, she's probably been cursing me this week to for being lazy.

Tonight was Meikka's 80's party, I wasn't going to go because of my back and I'm on the pain patch and didn't know if I could drink. I decided when I got off that I would go, got ready and went up to Meikka's, had one drink and called Doug to come and get me, my back is hurting so much and I really should not be drinking since I've only had the pain patch on for a week.


So ya, I'm old and in pain and did I mention that I'm old? LOL

I wish my head would fall off

I've had a heck of a headache since I got up this morning and it just doesn't want to give up and go away. Add this to my back going out on Thursday, it's been a rotten few days. Of course, when I have plenty of work that needs to be done around the house, I can't get out of my own way. The only way I can get comfortable is in my chair with the heating pad, even laying in bed I can't get comfy enough to get some sleep.

A new week

Today is my day off since I worked all weekend and what a long weekend it was. Not too many people around makes for very long days, we had trouble trying to find enough to keep us all busy but did get some things done that weren't planned so that was a good thing. I got up today to see a snowfall warning has been issued for tomorrow, I hope we just have snow and none of the snow/ice/rain crap, if it's going to snow just snow and get it over with, not as much mess as when there's rain after it. It's my night to work so I'm hoping that I won't have to work. LOL Well, I'll have to work the afternoon but hope that we close if it's storming, we usually do and I haven't been the lucky one to be working that shift yet, it's my turn!

No news on Ann's baby yet, she went for a check-up on Thursday and things were looking fine but today I see she's gone to Bridgewater again, so I don't know if something is going on or not. I had a dream last night that she had a baby boy but she didn't name him the name she told me that he'd have, so I'm still not making a guess at what baby is. I just can't wait for him/her to get here so I can have some cuddle time! Babies everywhere! My other good news involved a baby too, my cousin Michelle is pregnant with her 3rd child, seeing as we though all of us were finished, we're pretty pumped for her and Tommy to be having a baby, I'll be baby shopped out before next fall is over. I hope we get a girl in here somewhere, we know Tammi is having a boy, don't know about Ann and Michelle is going to find out when the time comes.

This coming Friday night is our girl's night out, we're doing it High School style! LOL We are suppose to wear our school colors but being the rebel, I'm not, acutally I had already bought a shirt to wear before Meikka posted that rule so I'm still wearing my pink 1987 shirt, the year I graduated. I'd love to be able to find a pair of high top sneakers but I'm not sure that I'll get to Brdigewater before the weekend so that might not happen. I just hope we have good weather and warmer temps Friday, I hate going out when it's freezing cold.

Anyway, I guess I should go get supper on the go, have a good one and stay safe in the snow!
