Yay, another weekend! Gotta love them! I got off a little early today because Beth was coming home and I wanted the afternoon to spend with her. We went out for lunch then went up to Doug's parents and Beth gave Marley a nice trim, she looks much better than she did. Then we came home and waited on our other visitor, Dad was going to drop in tonight on his way through to Shelburne. So now that it's 10pm everyone has been here and gone and I'm about ready to hit the hey. It's been a long busy week and I'm beat.

I've got a teenage driver!

Our day started off with a trip to Bridgewater where we spent about 2 hours while Josh got his beginners. I was very happy to see him come out of the office without a yellow paper and a smile so big it couldn't be measured. He only had 1 wrong on the test so he was pretty pumped.

We came home and waited a bit, talked to Jeff and he was getting ready to take in the museums in town so he offered to take Brea with him while I took Josh driving. So after Brea went with Jeff, I came home and got Josh and took him out where the tracks used to go, a nice wide, dirt road. When he got in the drivers seat, he's like, "Ummm you wanna tell me what to do now?" LOL The kids never been behind the wheel of a car or truck, he can drive a tractor blindfolded but this was a whole new world. We had a couple of rough spots but he did okay, we then ventured to a real road, we spent another hour driving then came home so Mom could recover. Tonight I took him out again, he asked Doug to take him but he wouldn't .

It will take lots of time and lots of patience on our parts but he'll get it, eventually. LOL Right now he doesn't do corners too well, he goes too fast, doesn't understand what slow down means...We all gotta learn sometime right?
