A sunny day after a snowy day

Yesterday the kids got an unscheduled day off because we had some snow, they were hoping to have today off to but it's nice and sunny and I even have a couple of windows open.

I went to my Dr. yesterday to see what the letter from the surgeon said, it was what we expected and now surgery will be scheduled. Not something I'm looking forward to at all but ya gotta do what you gotta do. Hopefully it will be done right before summer so at least I'll have Brea home with me to give me a hand. She told me she's going to get a pool lounger so I can just lay in the pool all day, not sure how she thinks that I'll get in or get out of the pool, that might be interesting. LOL

I've been sick since Tuesday with the cold that Breanna decided to share with me, today I'm just feeling miserable, runny nose, coughing, upset tummy, I think it will be a nice quiet weekend.

Pimples on scalp

As I have said before, my 16 year old has problems with acne. A couple of months ago he started having a problem with pimples on scalp. Since we can't figure out why he gets pimples, I thought this one might be a mystery, but it wasn't. I figured out that it was caused by him wearing his hat all the time and his sweating, so at least this one was easy to fix. As for other acne, there are all kinds of things that it gets blamed on, and most of them have been proven false, I think it's stress and hormones myself, during exam time his face was a mess, I don't think that was a coincidence.

It's sure NOT looking like Spring is on it's way

Yesterday we woke up to about a foot of snow, some weather pages said we'd get 2-8cms, some said rain, some said 20cms, they were the closest! Most stores were closed for the morning, school was closed for the day, it was a mess. Not that I mind, I don't have to go out in it, so it's pretty to me. LOL
