Famous last words spoken by me to Doug last night when I cleaned the fish tanks with Mr Clean. Oops?
The Wamboldt family are sorry to report that Breanna's beloved Nemo has passed away, estimated time of death, last night through the night.
I guess tomorrow we'll be going to Wal-Mart fish shopping. Hey she just said that last time we were there that she wanted a new one! Doug thought I should tell her the cat ate it, ya right, then she'd torture the cats.

Hump day Wednesday
And boy is it a dreary one. Yesterday the sun was nice and bright, made us think that spring might be here, today it's just icky! Cloudy and cold are the words for today.
So the other night we were watching the news and they tell us that the lastest fitness thing is "pole dancing". It's the newest big crazy way to get fit. So Doug tells me he'll pick me up a pole the next day, ya right, dream on hunny. Yesterday I was at work and there were a couple of people there, including Wendy, the boss lady. In comes Terry, the courier, he had just been to the mill and had a message for me from Doug, he's got the pole and will bring it home today! LMAO, now it's kinda hard to get me to blush but they told me I was a nice shade of red. LOL So I get on the phone to my dear husband and when he answers the phone I told him "You are a freaking moron!" LOL
I work tonight, I hope it's a little more exciting than yesterday, what a dead day. I cleaned for most of my shift wich didn't help my back that has been bothering me for the last few days anyway. I guess we got a large shipment of PVs this morning so I told Wendy I'd have a big sale tonight. LOL Hey, it's easier than finding a place to put them!
Both kids have been saving their money for awhile and both spent it all within the last 2 weeks. Josh bought a used PS2 and some games, he's loving that, good thing I work at Movie Gallery. Breanna bought an American Girl doll, it's a cute doll but I still think it's crazy what they cost, oh well, not my money. She got the doll that looks similar to her, dark complexion, long brown hair and brown eyes. She has named her Madison. Now she "needs" clothes! And shoes! And PJ's! Maddy doesn't like to sleep in her clothes ya know!

The first day of spring
And the ground is white! Not much, just a little snow we had last night. The kids got all excited when it started to snow, thought they were going to get an extended March Break. No such luck on their part but lots on ours!
Josh should be back to full days today, or that's the hope anyway. He has to go to therapy when he gets off. I'm thinking he may walk with such a limp more because it's the way his body is used to walking, so we're going to give therapy a try.
The ice show was yesterday, it was very cute. The little ones were adorable in their costumes. Breanna did great and got her last 2 CanSkate badges. Now we have a week and a half off before spring skating starts. I can now start getting things in order to hand off to the next person. Get the paperwork all caught up and packed in a box.
Doug was away for the weekend with some guys from the union. So I was busy with the kids, today it's time to catch up with everything that didn't get done. I have a meeting tonight and then tomorrow it's back to work. So, I should probably get at it. Have a great week everyone!

Yes, I know I'm a slacker

LOL! Anyway, things here are going okay. Josh's staples are all out and he's feeling a little better each day. He still has the Foley and it has a bad habbit of blocking from the left over tissue but I hope it's normal, I've called the hosptial in the city and hope to hear back tomorrow. He hasn't gotten a whole lot of life back and is very pale, everyone thinks he needs to go to a tanning bed. LOL
I worked a short shift on Saturday and return to work tomorrow night, it will be hard to get used to going again. It's so damn cold I'd rather just stay in the house.
We're still busy with skating, Susan took over for me while I was away, she's been a big help all year. The ice show is coming up in a few weeks and the kids are all getting excited about that. The little ones are so cute.
Anyway, time to watch AI and then AR. Me and my reality shows :)
Oh yea, I'll add the picture that we had done at the competition earlier this month.
Thank you Wendy for coming to remind me about the casting call!!!

Checkin In
Good morning world. Things are going well here at the IWK. Josh's surgery went well and now it's just the long road to recovery. He had the bladder augmentation done and also had some adhesions that they fixed up. He's got quite a cut on his belly, or it looks like it is, we can't see it too well. He's also got what they call a superpubic tube in his belly, that drains the urine so it doesn't collect in the bladder, giving it time to heal. He was up once yesterday, just from the bed to a chair and today he'll have to get up and try and walk a bit.
Not much sleep to be had in here, Josh always has one machine or another making nosies. He's sleepy and looks like crap. Doug is coming in today and we'll go out for awhile, maybe he'll nap then.
I guess we'll have some company tomorrow, that will be nice, we get tired of looking at each other, LOL. Doug and Breanna are going to come in for the night and stay at a hotel, depending how he's doing I might go stay with them. I think if I laid down in a normal bed I'd be dead to the world for 12 hours or so.
Well it's time to put my laundry in the dryer, see? Even when you leave home you're doing the laundry. There's just no getting away from it.
