Report Card News

So Saturday was report card day for both of the kids, yes, on a Saturday, don't worry, they didn't like it but I still made them go. They both passed, Breanna's marks were pretty much all A's, Josh's marks were good except for his math but he did pass it so that's the main thing. I just have to make sure he doesn't get the same math teacher in the fall.

Josh's job hunt isn't going too great. He's been applying all over town. He was told that the Dollar Store would be having interviews next week, so we're keeping our fingers crossed that he has some luck with that one. Breanna is out visiting her friend Samantha, it's almost 11 so I hope she soon calls to say she's ready to be picked up. She doesn't have to get up early tomorrow at least. She has swimming lessons but they aren't till 1, it's her last day and I'm sure she'll have no problem passing the badge, she's done great!

Anyway, I'm getting sleepy, so I hope Miss Brea is soon ready to come home

A very busy day off

Today was my day off because I work this weekend. I slept in a bit then got up and had a shower, got the laundry done and then off to tanning. I can honestly say I'm going to miss tanning when it's over, I look forward to that little bit of "me time" every day. I may pay for a few extra sessions when mine are over.

This afternoon we were off to the school to see Breanna's Cheer closing. The girls put on a great show and afterwards we went for cake and to watch the awards. Breanna got her medal and a ribbon for perfect attendance so that was nice.

Well I should go off to bed and get ready for my weekend at work.
