English horse tack
If I haven't told you yet, Breanna has given up cheerleading and taken up a new sport that has turned in to a new love, there's not much hope of her going back to cheering. She now rides at a local stable and hopes to some day be able to compete in shows. So with her riding I'm always looking for places to get great deals on things that she'll need. In my search I've come across a place where you can get some quality english horse tack for great prices. So if you or someone you know rides English, check this place out, if you are looking for it, you can find it!
It's a tad windy out there tonight, we are waiting on Tropical Storm Irene to hit. So far we are just getting some wind, rain hasn't hit yet but we aren't in the worst of it yet. The good thing is that it is supposed to be gone by morning with a sunny day and week to follow.
It's hard to believe that our summer is just about over. The kids are getting ready to go back to school, Breanna to grade 8 and Josh is off to NSCC. We are so proud of him, he got enough money in scholarships to pay his whole tuition. So we are just waiting for some refunds to come through and his student loan so we can find him a car. Until then we will still be a 1 car family with him taking Doug to work then heading to Bridgewater for school and I don't get to have the car even if I need it. LOL
Got the call made to Jr High to get Breanna taken out of French Immersion and put back in a regular class. She gave it a year and her marks just weren't good enough for us to leave her in it. I'd rather have her back in English and getting some decent marks.
Saw the Dr. on Friday and got some new meds to try, so far they aren't doing much but I hope in the next few days they start to work some magic, I have so much that needs to be done. My floors will soon get up and walk away and if I wait for someone else that lives here to do it...well I'll be dead and forgotten by that time.
So that's what's new with us, hope everyone is doing well.

What's up buttercup?
What's new my bloggy peeps out there in bloggy world? A lot has changed in the life of me. Well, not so much a lot. I have a high school graduate, who will turn the big 18 on Monday, I turned 42 and feel like I'm 98, Brea is coming out of french immersion and going back in to a regular English class to bring her marks back up, I hope.
Today I took the kids to Bridgewater to the Big Ex. I knew that it was going to be a killer for me, the last few years Jeff has been home and has taken Brea, Josh has never had much interest in going, he's not a big fan of the rides. Anyway, we spent, hmmm, let's see... 5 1/2 hours down there, with me either standing or walking all of the time, hence me being up at 1:35 am talking to my blog. I feel like someone is continuously stabbing a knife in my back and am having muscle spasms big time. Oh well, I knew it was going to happen but it made my baby girl happy, so that's the main thing right? I never got to go to anything like that with my parents, my Nanny always took me every year, for a whole day, it seemed like back then there were a lot more rides than there is now. Let's see, Brea went on the Freak Out, many times, the Full Tilt, 3 or 4 times, the Ferris Wheel once, the Swings once and the Tilt-A-Whirl once, the rest were little kids rides. She even brought most of her money home, only buying a "Cow Girl" hat, her BFF bought one also, so they can match :).
Anyway, I spose I should...ummm...go back to watching Big Brother live feeds, my guilty pleasure this year. LOL
