Good morning world

It's a grey day out there, here on the south shore of Nova Scotia. They are calling for 5-10 cms of snow before tonight. The panic was on last night when we realized Breanna didn't have any boots. So off to the store we go to get boots so now it's not calling for as much snow as it was.

Josh got his report card last week, great marks! First year in Jr. High and off for a week for surgery and he still pulled off a good report card. He had 98 on science, much better than his mother ever did. LOL

Breanna's Christmas concert is tomorrow night so she'll be all dolled up to sing a few songs. I hate going to the concerts, so many people, the older I get the more I hate crowds.

Well I think I'll head off for a nap, LOL, or try to anyway. Have a great one!

Good Morn...oops...Good Afternoon!

I went back to bed this morning when the kids left for school so I'm not sure what time of day it is. LOL Been working lots this week, split shifts and lots of nights so I'm very tired. I work tonight and then again in the morning so I thought I'd grab a few extra zzzz's when I had the chance. I'll be glad when Sunday gets here. I work tonight, tomorrow, Friday night and Saturday night. Saturday afternoon is Breanna's birthday party, we are going to paint some pottery. Then on Sunday Nanny & Papa will come down for supper and cake, because Sunday is her birthday.

Today I have to take Josh to the pediatrition for his check up. We went to the city on Monday to get his leg checked. The Dr said it looks good and showed me the x-ray of his foot, it looks so weird with those big staples in it. He isn't impressed that Josh is still having pain, since he doesn't have feeling in most of his foot. But he's got permission to go back to normal as much as he can.

Speaking of Drs appointments, I have to go for my yearly CAT scan next Friday on my back. I'm sure it won't show much different but Gary likes to check to see how much worse it gets every year.

Along with everything else this weekend, we'll try and get the Christmas lights up so I can turn them on the 1st. I'll soon start to panic about not being ready, I do it every year. I'm sure if I sat down and figured out what I have to get it won't be as much as I think. It'll come and go just as it does every year.

Anyway, time to dry my hair and get the laundry done, Josh will be home at 2 and we'll head to town for his Drs appointment.

LATER Peoples!

Older pictures

I found some of my older pics and thought I'd share.
This one was taken the same place that I took them this year. I love this one, can't you see the attitude!?!
This was taken just a month or so before Grampie passed away.

This one must have been the year before he got sick.

Off to the vet today

Time for my shots, oops, I mean Keisha's shot. She's also getting her nails trimmed, damn they are sharp! She's such a little brat! She's does not like to cuddle at all, little meanie. While I'm in Bridgewater today I'll go over to the theater and pick up our Harry Potter tickets for this weekend. DL and I take the big kids, it's a yearly thing. LOL We are going to try and make the 6:30 show since DL has to work Sat. morning and I have to work Sunday morning.

I've been sitting here downloading Christmas music, I'm too lazy to go try and find my CDs from last year. I'm a happy woman now that I found Chrismtas in The Valley, that was my Dad's favorite Christmas song.

So besides the vet today, I have to go pick up some stuff at Sears, go to Breanna's school and order her school sweatshirt, pick Josh up at his school because he has a yearbook meeting and then come home, find some supper and head to CanSkate.

Later people!

So here it is, Monday again

And I was giving Josh a hard time about being a slack blogger. LOL BTW, he did manage to update, so go check it out, the link is over there ---->

Not much new this week. We went out to do pictures for our Christmas cards yesterday and actually got a good one. I've ordered the cards and they are being shipped tomorrow. So everyone who is on my list will have very nice cards this year! LOL I love them, I don't even have to sign them, even better, now if I could have gotten them to address the envelopes for me I'd be all set.

Monday morning madness

What a day, and it's only 8:21am. Today was Josh's first day back on the bus in the morning. I get up at 6:45 and he's still snoring away, not a good thing when the bus comes at 7. He got up, took his pills, got dressed and drank a Carnation Instant Breakfast and was out the door by 7. Yesterday was his first day since surgery that he didn't have to take any Tylenol at all, so it's getting better.

Had a call from my big sis last night, seems her ex, that I hated with a passion because of the way he treated her and the kids, was found on a boat, dead. I can't believe he died of natural causes, the man was such an ass that nobody liked him. So word is now getting around that he's gone and everyone is calling to see where I was on the weekend. Nope, wasn't me, he's on the west coast, I'm on the east. The strange thing was, even though I could not stand Greg, I did feel a little bad when Linda told me. See people? I'm not totally heartless as some think I am.

Plans for today are to hang out with my buddy Brian, while Wendy and June go to the city. I also have to get everything ready for CanSkate tomorrow, since I work all day tomorrow. I'm just glad I'm feeling better today, I've had a headache since Friday night. Gawd I hate migraines! I'm so glad I don't get them as much as I used to.

Application to date my daughter

I was looking around on the web for an application to date my best friend and came up with this page, I think I'll book mark it for future use. LOL
