And the beginning of another month

So here we are at the beginning of November, Halloween is all over with. I think they kids had a good Halloween, Brea went out Tor Ting with her best friend Samantha and Josh stayed home and ended up getting lots of candy because of Breanna having braces.

So now the Christmas season will hit full force and I have to tell you I'm more stressed than I have been any other month, we haven't even caught up with the bills we were behind in, let alone buying gifts for my kids. A bit of stress happening!

One of the stresses in my life is no longer, which adds a bit more. LOL I no longer work at Pharmachoice, I went in today for a meeting which left me with the feeling of anything but being wanted there. I know what this man is capable of, I've seen him do it to others and it sucks. So needless to say I had to resign, but like I told Doug, if anyone asks, I didn't just resign, I was forced into it. It sucks but hey...shit happens.

Shrink Tube Terminals

This is the time of year we all try and get any home fix ups done along with the fall clean up. Many people head to a hardware store when they want to pick up some shrink tube terminals, not for a minute thinking that maybe they should shop around on line, which I find strange but I like to do all of my shopping on line. :)

So...what's new?

Our beautiful fall weather seems to be all over, it's now getting cold enough at night that we are having frost and today has been grey and raining all day.

So, what's happened since I last blogged... Well, I did go back to work on Friday as planned, made it through the weekend, in agony, then decided that maybe the Dr. was right when he told me I wasn't ready to go back to work yet and went off work again for a few weeks. But don't tell Dr. G. that he was right okay? LOL I guess I'll go see him next week and tell him that, he'll love that I admitted it.

I have been thinking of selling Avon again, I used to do it a few years ago. A rep. came out from the city the first of the week and I signed up while she was here. I'm very happy to have something to add to our income which hasn't been the greatest lately. It seems like it's going to go over quite well with everyone that I have contacted, a lot of people, like me, don't want to be out in the crowds doing shopping, especially for Christmas and would rather shop from the comfort of their home. They have a lot of very nice things for Christmas, lots of Hannah stuff and a huge assortment of NHL items.

So that's been about all the excitement of my last week, not too thrilling eh? You must be used to that by now!

A new month

Here we are at the 1st of October, winter is sneaking up on us quite quickly. The great thing about it, is it still feels like late summer on most days, we start out cool in the morning but by lunch time it's very nice.

I'm still off work, at this point I have no idea what day I'm going back, it was supposed to be next Friday but that's going to change by a couple of weeks I think. My back is getting worse by the day unfortunately and the Dr. has to keep tweaking my meds to try and get them to a point that I can go back to work.

Doug heads back to work on Monday, not sure yet how long that will last, we are all hoping that they'll stay running till the Christmas shutdown because if you go with the 5 up and 5 down, that will put them running for Christmas and we know that's not going to happen, so it's a wait and see kinda game I guess...
