Funeral Insurance

Funeral bills and final expenses are something none of us like to think about, but in all honesty, we really should. I know I have plenty of life insurance to cover my final expenses and the Doug and the kids will be okay, I would never want to put someone in a position they couldn't afford. If you don't have insurance, now is the time to look at getting some funeral insurance. Just think of how much easier it will be for your family when they already have so many things to deal with when you are gone.

A lazy Sunday

I didn't get out of bed till 11 and haven't done much since. LOL Not that I don't have anything to do mind you, I have lots of housework that needs to be done along with the fact that we have company coming for supper, Doug and his great ideas. I think some K.D. would have been the perfect supper for tonight, I don't feel like cooking or doing the clean up that comes with having company. We were out last night till about 1, we had a great time, I didn't drink seeing as I was the driver for the night, I can't have a good time and drink when I know my kids might call and need me to come home in a hurry, I guess I'm a Mom 1st and party animal 2nd. LOL Well I guess I should try and get some work done, before I know it tomorrow will be here and I still won't have anything done!

So have I told you about my addiction to pens? I love pens, they can't be just any old pen either, I have certain kinds that I love and just have to have. When I used to work at the call center everyone used to make fun of my zip lock bag, that was full of pens! So if you have a pen addiction like I do, have I found the place for you! Gotta love Friday! Even better is when it's Friday and you know you have 2 days to sleep in, no skating this weekend! We have no plans at all, so it's time to get caught up on some house work and some sleep. I also have lots of blogging to do, I just got sent 21 assignments, that should keep me busy for a few hours or days. Today was a long Friday at work, most times Fridays go by fast but for some reason today it didn't. It's been very busy, the next 2 weeks I'm sure will be more so, with Easter coming up. Boy the candy and it all looks so darn good, can't help but buy some of it!

Good Tuesday Morning

Tuesday means it's night shif day, which isn't so bad, I get to laze around in the morning, get my housework done, have some dinner and then head to work. Today I didn't do much besides my laundry and some banking, other than that I'm still in my jammies for another hour.

It's so darn miserable looking outside I don't even want to go out, we woke up to snow and now it's plus 2 and the rain is pouring down. Good day to stay home with a good book.

If you read my other blog you know we've been having some health issues with Joshie, the past 2 days he's feeling better and I hope it stays that way. As much as I'd love a vacation, the IWK isn't my ideal vacation spot, the meals aren't that great and the beds are worn out. LOL But on the other hand, the Drs and nurses are the best there is, in our opinion anyway.
