Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to all of my family, friends and readers from near and far! I hope 2010 brings good things to all of us, how about we start with winning the 649 tomorrow night. Now wouldn't that be a great start to a new year? LOL

We spent NYE very quiet, we stayed home, Josh was over with Charles and Carolyn, Brea was over for awhile but got tired and came home. She tried so hard to stay up till mid-night but didn't make it. At 12 when the guns were being shot all around us I thought for sure she'd wake up but she was out cold. Josh came home soon after 12 and we stayed up till about 2:30. Needless to say today has been pretty quiet, with all of us just laying around watching TV and movies. Josh and I are now watching Funny People, has got to be the stupidest movie I've seen in a long time and it's not something you watch with a 16 year old! So I'm just doing my stuff on the computer and pretending I'm not paying any attention to the movie. LOL

Tile Flooring

After the Holidays are over many people like to do some home renovations, things are on sale and really there's not much else to do at this time of year. One of the things I'd love to renovate in my house is my kitchen, we haven't made any changes since we moved in 15 years ago and it really needs many things, including the walls, the floors and the cabinets, well, I guess I need that's not some of the kitchen, that's pretty much all of it. I'd love to put down some nice tile flooring in a nice blueish color, I think that would look very nice!

Allergy Relief

Many people think that people with allergies only have a problem in the spring and fall. That's not always the case, this time of year there are many people that are allergic to their Christmas tree. I know some people who have switched to artificial trees and then others use products that are made to help with allergy relief. Here you can find a wide variety of products that will keep you healthy and allergy free, all of the time!

3 More Sleeps Mommy!! I told her no, Santa is doing boxing day sales so we aren't having Christmas till Sunday. LOL Well "I" thought it was a great idea!

I only have a few more things to do, there's a couple things I'd like for Josh but don't know if I'll have the cash to get them, I need some more stocking stuffers, Josh's God Parents gift and something for Charles and Carolyn, well we got them a calender of pics of the kids, which we get them every year, but I need something to go with it. It still feels so strange not having anything for Doug, I don't even care that he's not buying for me, I'd still like to buy for him but we just don't have the money. I couldn't care less that I'm not getting anything, it's for the kids. My Mother always had to have jewelry for Christmas and the more expensive the better, not me, I just want to see the kids happy.

Tonight we had a Santa parade here in town for the first time in many years. It was very nice, we were in it with the Cheerleaders but I did get to see the rest of if when we got back to the fire hall. I thought I'd be okay to walk it, not thinking we might have to walk fast, so I'm paying for it now. I was so sleepy that I probably could have gone to bed at 11 but I was in enough pain that I had no choice but to take my pills so now I'm wide awake. I wish they didn't do that to me at night. Durring the day sometimes I can lay down after I take them but at night they wake me up, although tonight doesn't seem as bad as normal, maybe I'll get to bed at midnight.

Well I should go finish cleaning up the kitchen, Merry Chrsitmas Everyone!

Copper kitchen sink

I love to watch home makeover shows, I like to see all the different designs and concepts that you see. Something I have saw in one of the last ones that I watched showed a beautiful copper kitchen sinks. They come in all different sizes and models, it's hard to even pick just one that you like, I myself love the triple bowl copper kitchen sink, it would be great to have that much sink to use!

Steam Cleaners

Usually December is the time that everyone decides to steam clean their carpets, the shock comes when you head out to the grocery store to rent the cleaner. With the price of them so high, it would make more sense to do some research on the prices of steam cleaners and go buy your own. It's nice to know when you want to clean your floor or your furniture, it's just a matter of getting the cleaner out and doing it, just a little water and a little electricity, you're well on your way to a cleaner house!

OMG It's COLD out there!

I will be so glad when our weather decides which way it's going. 2 days ago it was +9, today it's -5 with a windchill of -20, I hate it. I will be so darn glad when we win the lottery and I can get nice in comfortable in my house in Florida. LOL Ok, so I won't hold my breath.

Just Brea and I home tonight, Doug and Josh are gone to the city to watch a Mooseheads game, they got the tickets for free so the price was right. We had a visitor this afternoon, Luke came to stay with us so that Tammi could go on the house tours with her Mom. It was great to have him stay for a few hours, can't wait till we can do it again, he's such a happy little guy.

Tomorrow I've got to go deliver some spices that came today, get some housework done and move the couch in the living room to make room for the tree, which won't come till next weekend. I can't believe that Christmas is 2 weeks away and I've hardly bought a thing.
