Let's try this again

Yesterday I had a big ol' post done and blogger decided that I didn't need it so *poof* it was gone. I guess I should type them up in word and then paste them here.

When I took Doug to work this morning it looked like it was going to clear off and the sun was going to come out, now it's all cloudy again. I hope it clears before tonight so Wendy and I can get for our walk.

Today is my only day off till Sunday and I have lots of things that I need to get done, mostly cleaning and phone calls. I'm making arraingements for Josh to have a lift put on his shoe, that will add some length to that leg and should help him walk better. Along with that, he'll need a new pair of sneakers. So I have threatened him that he's never to go through mud puddles because his shoes will be worth too much money, LOL. Between the shoes and the orthotic it will probably be around $500.00. I think it's time for my father's lotto numbers to come up so we can win some money, like that's going to happen, but we can always dream eh? I also have to call the IWK but I think I'll do that tomorrow because they will be in clinic and it's easier to get answers. When he irrigates his bladder he's getting blood, fresh blood, I have no idea where it's coming from but I don't like it at all. So I'll call tomorrow and talk to Kim or Colleen and get them to check with his urologist.

Breanna got up on the wrong side of the bed this morning, imagine that! She was not in a good mood. She's tired of the winter clothes and wants to dress for summer, which will be fine, when we get some nice weather. Then she didn't want to take Doug to work, then she couldn't get her hair right, now she's gone to school, ahhh the sound of silence.

Well I should get some work done, I have to go have my B12 shot later today and go give Pharmasave some money, I swear we keep that place open. Later!

Monday update

So here we are at Monday again, boy the time is sure going by fast. Next thing we know the kids will be out of school for the summer. It's an icky day here, cold and rainy, foggy and just plain miserable. A good day to stay in your jammies, I just had to get out of mine since I have to go to work.

We had a nice weekend, Wendy H. and I have gone for a walk the last 4 nights, we hope that tomorrow night it won't be raining so we can go. I have to get some new sneakers, mine are hurting my feet so it's time to invest in a new pair. I also have to get Josh a new pair since he is having orthotics made for his sneakers, another idea to help him with his walking. Since there is an inch difference in the length of his legs this might be a big help.

One day left of skating!!!!!!!!!! WOOHOOO!!!!!!!! I can't wait for it to be over for a few months. Yesterday it was so nice I hated to go into the cold rink for 2 hours. Breanna goes back and forth, some days she's happy it's over for awhile, other times she says she's going to miss it. I'm sure once we get nice weather and the pool goes up she'll be glad that it's over.

The boss just called, tried to convince her that it's a jammie day but she doesn't agree, everyone tell her she's being a meany.LOL So I better get ready for work so I can go bug her for a few hours. Later people!

Just a qick update

I'm getting ready for work so this will be quick. After a terrible drive to the city in the rain and snow we had a good check up. He had appointments from 9:30 till 2 with no lunch break so we thought he may start chewing his arm off but he held off till we got him to Wendy's. LOL Anyway, we have to go back to rehab to get a lift put on his shoe but other than that if things work they way they should {shunt} we are clear for a year! And surgery was not mentioned, well it was, but not till he's done growing. I'm glad clinic is over for a year, it's a long day with a lot of information to take in and after 12 years of doing it I still get worn out. Anyway, time to get ready to go to work! Later people!

Good morning!

Well it's morning anyway, not sure what's good about it, I hate having to get up on a sleep in day. We have to go to the rink for Canskate, then Breanna skates and then Josh has therapy. Tonight is the AGM for skating, so I'll be there for awhile.

We had a good Easter, the kids got lots of chocolate that I wish they'd eat so it would stop calling my name. Damn stuff. And those little foil covered eggs, you can't just have one.

I've done a lot of thinking this weekend and have realized some things. I've realized that some things have changed and it's time to take a step back and walk away from something. As time goes on it just seems that I'm getting more upset and more hurt. I'm not saying it's going to be easy, I'm not saying I hope it stays that way and never changes, I'm saying right now I can't take the hurt anymore.

Anyway, time to get moving, Breanna's not up yet and I have to get some laundry done, have a good week everyone!

Well Damn!

Nemo II passed away this morning. We're not having much luck. I knew it was coming, he hasn't acted normal since we got him and the last couple of days he's been hanging out at the top of the tank and not eating. I actually thought he died through the night but when we went to get him out he started swimming again. I went in a few minutes ago to check him and I was going to change his water again, but he was gone. We replaced everything in her tank when Nemo the 1st died, maybe I need to replace the tank too? Or maybe this one was sick from the start.

Not much else new, we're still spending weekends at the rink, for a few more weeks anyway, it will be over the last weekend of April. Josh spends his weekeneds enjoying his new freedom of being allowed to go fishing with friends. It's the first time he's been allowed to head out without us and he's loving it. I know it's not much fun to hang out with us anymore, LOL. Josh has his yearly clinic appointment next Wed., his first appointment is at 9:50 and last is at 2:10. I hope that everything is going okay and no surgery is needed for awhile.

It's a beautiful spring day here, I think I'll clean out the Escape and BBQ tonight for supper.

I've been playing with a new photo program and realized I really need to get some new pictures of the kids. I don't have many on this computer. I'll try and remember to do that this week. Anyway, time to get some work done. Later!
